The Creating a Winning Atmosphere Through Sports course will examine such topics as the mental aspects of sports\, the motivation of athletes\, the building of a team culture\, as well as learning techniques and strategies for building a “winning atmosphere.” \nThe course will utilize the wisdom of coaches to share experiences in addition to supplemental readings and videos to support all topics. There will be a variety of strategically planned interactive activities that promote a deepened sense of learning centered around the topics in the course. Coaches will be provided additional team-building activities that can be used to increase competitiveness\, camaraderie and team chemistry while also allowing coaches to develop a larger network outside of their respective sport. \nSpecifically\, participants will identify materials that are associated with building team confidence\, enhancing team performance\, and creating program expectations.
